busy, frustrating, happy, sad, fast, fun, difficult, easy, a struggle, different, same, sweet, challenging but most of all for the most part I think my life isn't bad and mostly it is good.

Mother of two with one of each. Wife of one.Dogless. Busy working five days a week, baking and cooking when time allows. Writing rarely these days. Wishing I had time to read more often.
Currently reading: A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson
Listening to, on rotation at work when people start talking too loud and interfering with my concentration: Belle & Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub, The Beatles,
Radio Head, Badly Drawn Boy, Elliot Smith, The Jam, Tori Amos.
And on occassion at other times: Ben Harper, Bob Mould, Corduroy, Miles Davis & John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock & Chick Corea etc.
This is why I have never put my musical tastes out there before there is so much though if I had to sum it up though, as a rule its Jazz or Classical for Sunday Breakfasts with heaving leanings towards Brit Pop most other days.

Makes me feel homesick. Before moving to Sydney, I once worked in a building in Turbot St. with a similar view.
There have been amazing sky hijinks lately, from that building the crane had a load full of people and swung them around 360 degrees so they could watch the Indy cars the other day. Then today the planes and Jets getting ready for the Riverfeast on the weekend were buzzing around. It's been amazing.
